Saskia Wyman, a former librarian fleeing heartache in Montreal, drives west until she runs out of land.

 

On the Pacific coast, in the town of Kindred River, Saskia opens a shop where she surrounds herself with the handmade, the tangible, the crafted.

 

She settles quietly into her analogue life until the day Dennis Brock, a new to town, digitally addicted cop, walks in the door seeking her expertise on a clue that just might help solve a murder.
